After being cognitively enhanced, Corey is disgraced and booted out of the prestigious private intelligence company which employed and altered him. Eight years later, he finally lands his first gig of any consequence as a private investigator. But he soon begins to suspect he is getting involved in something far more complicated than his secretive client has let on.
