On May 4, 1932 local police in the Atlas area of Stockholm, Sweden broke into the apartment of local sex worker, Lilly Lindeström, and were confronted with a gruesome and baffling scene. Her friend Minnie had contacted the police after Lilly had not answered her door for almost a week since she had last seen her. Police found Lilly dead and her body completely drained of blood. The police were unable to find any traces of the vital fluid around the immediate area of the body but did find a small amount on a ladle in the apartment. The details that the police would release regarding the investigation would lead to a panic that Lilly’s murderer had not only taken her life but consumed her blood, as well.
