A young boy named Michael Myers murders his sister in the town of Haddonfield in the 1960s. In 1978, he breaks out of the mental institution in which he was being held and goes back to Haddonfield to look for more victims. He seems to set his sights on teenager Laurie Strode and her group of friends. Will they be able to survive the night he comes home?
