Emma is visiting the Italian countryside family home of her fiance Francesco and meeting her mother-in-law for the first time. As soon as they get there, her daughter Sofia starts to see and experience weird things. On top of that, it would appear as though Francesco’s family might be hiding a dark secret that could put her and Sofia in danger …

As usual, we’ll each give our two cents on the movie (and our rating) in our Critique Segment.

For our much praised Academic Segment, we’ll be talking about a (possible) real case of hardcore Mexican Binding Witchcraft (Amarre), in which a woman named Mireya Flores went all out in her attempt to get a man to love her unconditionally (and give her all his money while she was at it). Chuy went an extra mile in making this one extra creepy 🙂

Last but not least, we discuss whether or not the main villain of this movie deserves to be called as such in our Know Thine Enemy Segment.
