Spread the love

A melancholy German student in Paris during the French Revolution what could go wrong?

The Adventures of the German Student was first published in 1824 in Washington Irvings collection “Tales of a Traveler”. It apparently has a french inspiration story that has been lost to time.

If you love spooky tales you will be familiar with the American author Washington Irving as the author of Rip Van Winkle and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Hmmm anyone else starting to think he had a fascination for beheading things

Also some fun accents in this one. I love accents but I must admit to do a serious German accent I have to pretend I am Werner Herzog or I end up sounding like Heimlich from A Bugs Life.
