So Alex is a gem appraiser for a prestigious auction house, and she somehow gets herself involved with an ancient creature known as a Djinn when it escapes from its jewel prison after an accident caused by a drunk worker. Now it’s up to Alex to save mankind from the evil Djinn in what turns out to be a very poorly acted disaster-piece of a movie …

After we got through the brain trauma caused by this film, we were so distressed that we started to discuss wild topics in our acclaimed Academic Segment. From the mythical origins of the Djinn in Islam, to Chinese dragons and Quetzalcoatl, to basic theories of psychology, nothing was off limits.

Once that was over, we were able to compose ourselves enough to give this sorry excuse for a villain a (low) Skull Rating in our infamous Scare Meter.
