Dick Donovan – is the pseudonym of James Edward Preston Muddock or Joyce Emerson Preston Muddock. A journalist and adventurer who wrote a detective series featuring a detective named Dick Donovan that was so successful that started publishing stories under the detectives name. He traveled all over the world, married three times and had ten children.
