Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald are two teenage sisters growing up in the suburbs. They are disenchanted with life and seem to have a rather morbid fixation on death. Everything in their lives starts to change after Ginger is attacked by an unknown creature one night. After the attack, Brigitte notices how her sister starts to act very differently, and her physical appearance is also not the same anymore. She enlists the help of Sam, a local botanist dude, to see if they can figure out a way to help Ginger before it’s too late for her …

And we’re back! We’ve been away for several weeks, but we’re ready to jump right into things! We talked about how scenes from the movie remind us of things that we all went through at some point or another in our lives. Puberty, a sense of not belonging, what it’s like to lose a loved one, and society in the years before 2001 were among the topics we covered.

We did experience some technical difficulties making this episode, so we’d like to apologize for that.
