On today’s podcast I tell you the story behind local legend, Desperation Mona. Frequent guest of the show, my grandmother, found this story in the newspaper and had to send it to me. I had actually never heard of Mona, even though I have lived in the area my whole life, and had to get to researching. This story becomes a rabbit hole that I did not expect. There’s a ghost, a murder on Pikes Peak, and a serial killer that uses rattlesnakes. Grandma was very excited to hear my findings so I had her on the podcast!
