The town of Alamosa Colorado actually started out as a rail center established by the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad.Over the years the rail center evolved into the town of 8,780 that is today.There is a very curious story about Alamosa.That is the story of Snippy the horse, which may have been the first “cattle” mutilation.
Dalby is a small hamlet on the Southwestern side of the Isle man.It’s known for view of Niarbyl Bay.However, what put Dalby on the map is not a great view of the water or it’s old WWII bunkers that litter farmer’s fields.Dalby is were a spunky talking mongoose name Gef is said to have been from.
