GUEST: Harvey Rice retired from his job as a reporter for the Houston Chronicle in 2017 after 18 years at the newspaper. Before joining the Chronicle, Rice worked at several other newspapers, including the Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss., and the Mexico City News, as well as United Press International in Mexico City, London, Miami and Washington, D.C.
