Dec. 9, 1965, Kecksburg residents reported that a fireball streaked through the sky and crashed in the nearby woods.

UFO skeptics say it was an outright hoax, but something happened. The townspeople said something fell from the sky similar to Roswell.

For the last 55 years it’s become one of America’s most intriguing UFO mysteries.

There have been a number of theories over the years to explain Kecksburg:

1. A meteor.

2. Extraterrestrial craft.

3. Cosmos 96 Soviet satellite recovery.

4. Nazi Bell project or some other government experiment.
