Huz Ghost Stories

Hosted ByAndrew Huzar

My name is Andrew and I’m a Medium and Reiki Master based out of Erie, Pennsylvania. Having grown up in this historic city on the shores of Lake Erie, I’ve heard countless ghost stories and legends of hauntings, ghosts, monsters, and more. As a child I was enamored with these tales and sought out to learn as much as I could. Now, as an adult I have that same love for these amazing and macabre tales. Together with my co-hosts Alex and Sean we take a look at these legends, diving into the history to discover their origins. Truth is often stranger (and darker) than fiction so sometimes we take a trip out to the areas mentioned in the legends to see what we experience or feel ourselves.
We love these ghost stories and we enjoy discovering new ones to bring to the attention of others. Whether you’re a history buff or just a fan of spooky stories, you’ll enjoy hearing us dig up these tales and their history.

The Darkness on Devil’s Road

Spread the love

The small town of Chadd’s Ford, Pennsylvania doesn’t seem like much on the surface. East of Philadelphia, this town has a population of less than 4,000 and is known mostly for its wineries and museums. Driving through this rural area would leave you with a peaceful feeling. However, that feeling erodes when you drive down Cossart Road. There is a house on this hill steeped in darkness, known as The Cult House. The wealthy DuPont family lived in this house but a paranoia about their fortune led to some disturbing acts. Their want for a pure bloodline led them to incestuous relationships. Legend says that eventually the babies were so deformed that family took to burying them beneath the fabled Skull Tree. Now, the house is rumored to be a hot spot for cult activities including human sacrifices. These legends and rumors have led to Cossart Road receiving a new name, Devil’s Road. Join us as we dive into this area’s twisted history.
