The Phantom of Flatwoods is also known as: the Braxton County Monster, The Green Monster, and most famously as, The Flatwoods Monster.

The astonishing event was the talk of the small town. It made local news, national news, world news – later even ending up in video games like Zelda and Fallout. It was rated as the #11 story of 1952.
