Noah Leigh, founder of Paranormal Investigators of Milwaukee (PIM), is a professional research scientist who holds master’s degrees in cell biology and epidemiology. Paranormal phenomenon has always intrigued Noah, and he has made it his mission to use his scientific background to do quality research in the paranormal field.

In 2007, Noah set out to assemble a group of people who ascribe to his scientific approach to paranormal investigation. In the past six years, Noah has built a reputation in the Milwaukee area that has allowed him to investigate places such as The Milwaukee Public Museum, and The Pabst Riverside Theater. Labeling himself as “skeptically optimistic,” Noah has an open mind when it comes to the paranormal, but does not allow himself or his group abandon common sense and scientific technique in the pursuit of paranormal evidence.

Noah’s background as a professional scientist has taught him how to properly construct experiments that can be done in the field to look for natural causes for phenomena rather than assuming a paranormal origin. Noah’s favorite saying is, “When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras!” This saying rings true in Noah’s approach to paranormal investigation and what he will allow his group to put forth as evidence. Noah is stringent in his assertion that if something can be explained, then it is not paranormal evidence!

Noah has also taught classes on the history of paranormal research, and paranormal investigation equipment and techniques through the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, and the West Allis/ West Milwaukee Parks and Recreation Department.

In addition to live speaking engagements, Noah has appeared on many paranormal radio shows to discuss his scientific approach to paranormal investigation. Noah and PIM also do pieces for their local news stations around the Halloween season. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to paranormal investigation and equipment and very much appreciates the opportunity to share his knowledge with others.
