Dartmoor is a national park and large moorland in the South West of England. As much as Dartmoor is natural and beautiful, it is also sometimes referred to as “The Great Swamp” by many of the locals. The bleakness of Dartmoor has encouraged the growth of many terrifying stories and is widely known for its myths, legends and folklore.
