Larry Battson is a nationally known educator on wildlife. He has traveled around the country for the last 30 years studying alleged sightings. Eventhough he faced the usual ridicule, he remained a believer. Larry first became intrigued when he spoke with Jim Fowler of “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” who related an event of searching for the brown bear in Russia and all the guides wanted to talk about was bigfoot, they were very afraid of them. Larry’s interest is in all wildlife and Bigfoot is another form of wildlife. Larry runs Wildlife Educational Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people. Larry was a natural choice for giving the lecture, “Cryptozoology: Bigfoot-Myth or Reality?” to the U.S Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Department of Interior where by simulcast it reached tens of thousands around the country on June 9,2009 at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. This event has opened the way to many new and exciting projects all over the country.In the world of Bigfoot, it was a historical event.
