What I saw had unusually large oval-shaped eyes, it had its face-flat against the ground. I even recognised the oddball behaviour of the animal. When the witness says; ‘the look in the eyes confirmed this,’ is she perhaps referring to some kind of clear emotive expression? Because the animal that I saw was calm it never panicked or bolted, it scowled at me like Clint Eastwood, then it just lay back down in the darkness. When it did that, it was like a reptile submerging beneath water.

That sentence is enough to fill you with chills, the very thought of something slinking down into the darkness just like the oldest predator on our planet. There are a lot of dark places in the world for a creature like this to hide.
