In 1893, people from all over the United States came to Chicago to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Columbus’ journey to America, but unbeknownst to virtually all of the attendees, not far from the Exposition, there were some who would never make it back home. Lurking not far from the grounds was a man of many talents and deadly desires: Herman Webster Mudgett, better known by his alias, H.H. Holmes.
