Sarah starts us off with the tale of Andy the Goose. A goose born without feet, Andy seemed to be stuck to a life of hobbling until Gene Fleming came along. Creating a special pair of shoes for Andy, Gene gave him a new lease on life and a new job: as inspiration for all peoples with disabilities.
Stephanie ends the episode by telling us all about “Choreomania” – also known as “The Dancing Plague”. And it happened more than once! Multiple times between the 1300’s – 1500’s dancing outbreaks took place, some even resulting in death! But the scariest part of all – to this day no one knows the real causes of these events….
