#284: Nate Miller — A Life of Hockey & The Making of “Miracle”

Spread the love

This week we are chatting with my buddy and lifelong hockey guy Nate Miller!!

Now coaching his kids’ hockey teams, Nate was the captain for the University of Minnesota Gophers before pursuing a professional career that surprisingly resulted in starring in the movie “Miracle” about the greatest upset in sports history.

In this episode we talk about it all – why hockey really connected with him, what it was like to move up the ranks in the sport, what he misses about being on a team, how he wound up playing John ‘Bah’ Harrington in the movie “Miracle” and what it was like to film, and his reactions to the endlessly entertaining documentary “Untold: Crimes and Penalties” (which he was not involved with but knew many of the players who were).

Hope you all enjoy the episode as much as I did!!
